Beyond Goolwa

I began my journey in Education and Care in 1995 as a young high school student with a genuine passion for working with children and a deep curiosity about how they learn and grow. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of watching the sector evolve in meaningful and inspiring ways, and I remain truly excited about its continued progress. My practice is wholeheartedly child centred, with a strong commitment to nurturing each child’s wellbeing, development, and unique strengths. I place great importance on building warm, respectful partnerships with families, recognising the essential role they play in a child’s learning journey. As a dedicated lifelong learner, I have pursued professional studies in leadership, management, health, and early childhood education and care. My current focus includes studies in nutrition, health, and wellness - areas that further support the holistic development of children. I am also passionate about guiding and empowering high quality teams. I take great pride in leading with purpose, positivity, and a collaborative spirit. Together with my exceptional team of educators and our talented chef, we are committed to providing a nurturing, inspiring environment where children receive the highest standard of care. Through shared values, dedication, and a genuine love for what we do, we ensure every child feels safe, supported, and celebrated. I believe every child is born with a natural sense of wonder, and it is our role as educators to cultivate that curiosity by creating rich, engaging environments that empower children to become confident, capable, and compassionate individuals. Children are at the heart of our future, and I am deeply committed to walking alongside them as they grow, learn, and make their mark on the world.
